Lindsey Marie Morgan was born on February 27, 1990, near Houston, Texas. She is of half-Mexican and half-Irish descent. Lindsey grew up in a large family with her mother, father, older brother and six more step-siblings. They lived quite friendly and united but Morgan was one of the most shy children in her early years.
However, during her school years, Lindsey became a very sociable and active child. She participated in all events and holidays, boldly went on stage and attracted a lot of attention. Consequently, she often appeared in school plays and productions, gradually instilling a love for acting and the stage. After finishing school, she firmly knew which college she would enter.
For a while, the girl was even a member of a small film community in Houston. After entering the University of Texas at Austin, Lindsey studied acting hard and dreamed of getting her first movie role as soon as possible.

In 2014, the science fiction series The 100 started and became very popular among teenagers and young adults. Lindsey got the role of a mechanic girl named Raven Reyes. In the first seasons, the role was not the main one. However, later she became the central character.

During the work, Morgan and her colleagues lived in trailers and moved very often. There were particular difficulties in choosing costumes and applying make-up.
